  • If you have seen your provider at Springfield Clinic within the past three years and need to communicate with them using your athenahealth portal account, please complete this request form.  

    We will review these requests and validate within five business days.  

    If you have an urgent request for your provider, please call the office directly (direct phone lines here). If this is a medical emergency, please dial 911.

  • Identify Providers

    Use the directory below to select the provider(s) you are requesting access to message through the portal. 

    REMINDER: Please review before you select which provider(s) you need a portal connection with.

    • If you have seen this provider within the past three years and we can validate in our system, we will be able to make a connection for you to message their team.
    • If you're a new patient, you will not be able to message the provider(s) using your athenahealth portal until after you've completed your office visit.
    • Please note that Springfield Clinic Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, Optometry, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation Services, Radiology and Trauma & Acute Care Surgery providers cannot be messaged through the athenahealth patient portal so you will not see them in the list below.
    • To select multiple providers:
      • On desktop, hold the control key on your keyboard while you click to select multiple providers.
      • On mobile, click the dropdown and tap the name(s). The selected providers will have a blue checkmark appear next to their name. Tap the "X" in the upper-right hand corner once completed and the dropdown will indicate how many providers you've selected.
    • NOTE: Optometry and Ophthalmology providers use a different patient portal. MyPatientVisit is the patient portal used by the Springfield Clinic Eye Institute (Optometry & Ophthalmology Department) through their electronic health record Nextech. When patients check-in for their appointment, they can request a personalized security code to set up their portal access on mypatientvisit.com.   • Springfield Clinic portal support will review and validate your request before processing. Requests may take up to five business days. You will receive an email confirmation at the provided email address once your connection is active.
